If you are a keen golfer look no further than Basilicata! There are two 18-hole championship golf courses located within 10km of each other, close to Metaponto on the Ionian Coast. If you are looking to take an autumn break why not relax yourself in the quiet and peaceful surroundings of Metaponto Golf Club, described as “a green oasis for golf lovers”. The spectacular views of the surrounding landscape mean the course weaves among citrus and olive groves, vineyards and a variety of Mediterranean plants.
